The official synopsis of "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" Season 2, Episode 40 is out teasing Clayman's next plan of action. Meanwhile, Rimuru and his allies are ready to subdue Clayman.

Episode 39 of "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" Season 2 started off with Ramiris' arrival and she got some bad news for Rimuru.

She announced Tempest was doomed to fall. Rimuru and the others were shocked. But before she could share more details, Diablo stopped her.

The delegates assembled for the meeting were concerned as they started to ask about Ramiris.

Rimuru revealed Ramiris was his friend and despite her looks, she was a Demon Lord. Ramiris was annoyed as she told them she was one of the Ten Great Demon Lords.

The meeting began and Rimuru shared how they were planning to make the announcements to the people of the kingdom.

He informed the delegates how Tempest was attacked by a greedy king, named Edmaris of Falmuth. However, his army was defeated and later, the sleeping evil dragon, Storm Dragon Veldora, was awakened.

Rimuru said he worked with Youm and made a deal with Veldora. The dragon was asked to calm his rage and he was made a guardian of the kingdom.

As the meeting progressed, Rimuru proposed he would want Youm the Champion to become the new king of Falmuth for founding a new nation.
