Rapper and producer Travis Scott was arrested Saturday night following a concert at Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion in Rogers, northwest Arkansas, several reports said.

People on social media blamed Scott's girlfriend Kylie Jenner and her ex Tyga for the incident although they didn't provide a reason. They also demanded for his release, using the hashtag "#FreeTravisScott" to post on Twitter.

Police Department in Rogers said in a Facebook post Sunday the music artist was arrested on charges of inciting a riot, disorderly conduct and endangering the welfare of a minor.

The post read: “During the concert Webster encouraged people to rush the stage and bypass the security protocols to ensure concert goer safety. During the rush to the stage several people were injured, including an employee from the security company hired to help monitor and control the crowd, and a member of the police department. The injured subjects were treated at the AMP by members of the Rogers Fire Department and Mercy Medical.”

The conditions of the injured people have not been released yet.

The post also mentioned Scott, whose real name is Jaques Webster, was taken to the Benton County Sheriff's Office.

However, a source close to Travis denied the charges and told TMZ Scott saw “available space in the general admission toward the front, so he invited seated guests in the back to come forward. We're told he had no intention of putting anyone in danger.”

Scott was booked at the Benton County Detention Center at 11:14 p.m. EDT on Saturday and then released at 11:26 p.m. EDT, a county official told CBS affiliate KFSM.

Scott and Jenner’s relationship first came out publicly when they were spotted together at designer Jeremy Scott’s Moschino x Candy Crush party at Coachella in Indio, California earlier in April.

“Kylie and Travis made their way to a private table, where they were joined by friends and enjoyed the deejay,” an insider told People. “After five minutes of being in a very crowded space, Travis got up and left the table, and Kylie followed him out with her friends following close behind her,” the insider added.

“[Scott] and Kylie have also been friends for a while and they all hang out,” the insider said. “When she and Tyga are having drama, she tries to make him jealous by hanging out with other guys.”

However, it appeared like the couple wanted to flaunt they were together while on a date watching the Houston Rockets play against the Oklahoma City Thunders in Houston, Texas in April.

“During his performance, Kylie was hiding in the Rockets’ courtside club anxiously waiting for him to come back to her. Once he got back, they definitely looked like a couple, cuddled up next to each other among her friends,” according to an onlooker who was also present during the game and claimed to have seen Jenner kiss Scott’s neck.

This is not the first time Scott was under the spotlight for controversial reasons. He was actually in trouble for the same reason in 2015 at Lollapalooza in Chicago for telling crowds to "rush the stage."
