Reality TV star Charlie Balducci has died at his home in Staten Island, New York City, just days after he posted a quote on "life" on his Twitter.

Balducci was found unresponsive on his bed when paramedics went to his home on E. Augusta Avenue on Saturday, July 25, after receiving reports of a patient suffering suspected cardiac and respiratory arrest. The 44-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

"Life gives no guarantees. It is uncertain and unpredictable," the "True Life: I'm Getting Married" star tweeted just five days before his death.

Speaking to TMZ, Balducci’s mother said her son's death was unexpected as he showed no signs of any sickness. His last words to her were that he was "happy to have his boys", she said.

A confirmation from the New York City Medical Examiner's Office the cause of death is pending.

Balducci is infamous for the explosive screen rant he had with a Limo driver for arriving late on his wedding day, which was caught on camera.

"I will gut you like the f--king piece of s--t you are," Balducci was heard in the infamous clip that has over thousands of views on YouTube. "I'll hunt you down like f--king cattle."

Blaming it on his New York upbringing, Balducci said, "In defense of myself, I really did what any other Staten Islander would have done in that situation. I did try to run away, (but) I was screaming right into the mic," during an interview to "20/20" in 2013.

Balducci and his wife Sabrina were one of three couples featured on MTV’s 2001 reality show "True Life: I'm Getting Married." The program captured the couple together in the run-up to their wedding.

"If you guys can’t plan a wedding together, you got to start to look at the marriage," Balducci said in the interview, explaining that the reality TV show was a great set up for married life.

Though Balducci arrived two hours late to the altar, the couple got married and remained husband and wife for 10 years.

After the show, Balducci, known as Charlie B. to his MTV fans, went on to serve as the president and founder of a non-profit organization, NycArtsCypher. The organization promotes positive values through arts and entertainment.

Balducci and Sabrina later divorced. He is survived by his two sons, aged 17 and 19.
