Donald Trump recently sparked rumors that he’s suffering from dementia after he committed a huge mistake while talking about the deadly coronavirus.

On Saturday, the POTUS held his first coronavirus conference, where he announced the death of one American who fell ill days earlier. Melania Trump’s husband claimed that the deceased patient was a woman.

But Dr. Jeff Duchin, a public health officer for Seattle and King County, clarified with reporters that the patient was actually a man with an underlying health condition.

According to Political Flare, the man that died may be part of an outbreak that is centered at the facility, where a female patient also tested positive for the coronavirus.

Initially, the POTUS was mocked over his huge mistake, but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) took responsibility for the error. On Twitter, Dr. Robert R. Redfield claimed that the CDC told Trump that the patient who died was a woman and not a man, so this is what he said during the conference.

“CDC erroneously identified the patient as a female in a briefing earlier today with the President and Vice President,” he wrote.

But despite the CDC’s attempt to clear Trump’s name, his critics were still convinced that it was the POTUS that made the mistake. He simply wanted CDC to take on all of the blame for him.

“The Orwellian cover-ups for Trump's mental deterioration need to stop. I highly doubt the CDC actually made the error. Lives are more important than ego .,” Twitter user @JenNWCbus said.

“The CDC is taking responsibility for the president saying the first coronavirus fatality was a woman, when it was a man,” Twitter user @maggieNYT said.

“They're now admitting Trump misidentified the sex of the victim. How can we trust anything this group tells us?” Twitter user @AlamoOnTheRise said.

“Blame the CDC. Sure. I guess they also said she was "wonderful woman". Kthxbye,” Twitter user @umussbekidding said.
