Melania Trump allegedly had awful support and was ill-served by her staff, according to Australian columnist Miranda Devine. Twitter users agreed with Devine because they didn't get to know the first lady well.

The Trumps' last days in the White House are drawing to a close. Devine penned an op-ed about Melania missing opportunities during the Trump administration due to the "awful support" she received.

"No, the picture that emerges from conversations with insiders who have worked for the White House over the past four years is that the first lady was ill-served by the staffer she trusted most, Stephanie Grisham," she wrote.

Several Twitter users agreed with Devine because they didn’t see so much of Melania as the first lady. For them, the FLOTUS is beautiful and amazing. However, many missed that side of Melania. Instead, she is often misunderstood.

"I always was sad that we didn’t see more of her! @FLOTUS is beautiful inside and out! The fake news had a missed opportunity, I would have watched or bought a magazine just to hear from her! Thank you for the article!" one commented on Twitter.

"Great article and true! I believe she’s starting to feel the love. Merry Christmas and God Bless America!" another added.

"The comments on the official FLOTUS accounts have been disgustingly vicious & undeserving from day 1. No one showed respect for her or the office. A new trend was started, and Jill, her family, admin & voters may not enjoy the paybacks. Nothing, no one, is off limits any longer," a third user stated.

Many also believed that the FLOTUS was a great asset to the administration. One even praised Melania for being a wonderful first lady and slammed her critics for failing to recognize her grace.

"Melania is a great asset. What a shame she’s been so badly served by a so called 'trusted' lieutenant," Rhonda Foster added.

“She’s been a wonderful First Lady & has never embarrassed her position or office, here or abroad. She would have benefited from folks with experience to guide her," Debbie Flanigan wrote. "But her priority has been, and is, their son. She’s never craved the spotlight. Folks today, don’t recognize GRACE."
