  • Photo of the alleged alien object was captured by NASA's rover
  • The expert believes the object was an alien statue or fossil

A UFO expert claimed that NASA’s rover photographed the remains of an alien life form on Mars. According to the expert, the strange object resembles a small elephant.

The strange sighting was made by Scott Waring of ET Data Base as he was going through the photos featured on the Gigapan website, which includes images taken during NASA’s missions.

One of the photos that he spotted was captured by the agency’s Curiosity rover, which is NASA’s current mission on the Red Planet. According to the details of the photo, it was taken by the rover from SOL 2731 to 2741, which is equivalent to April 17 to 21.

The photo features a ridge on Mars with different sized rocks on its surface. As Waring was reviewing the photo, he spotted an object which he believes could be the remains of an alien life form.

The UFO expert noted that the object, which can be spotted near the center of the photo, could be a statue or sculpture of an alien creature on the Red Planet. Based on the image, Waring noted that the object resembled a small elephant sitting on the ground.

Aside from being a statue, Waring believes that the strange object could be an actual fossil of an alien. He noted that the alleged creature might have died in the position that it was in.

“The object I found seems to resemble an elephant sitting down, but has a short trunk,” he stated in a blog post. “This statue is about half a meter or the size of a medium dog.

“Of course there is the possibility it’s a fossil, that it’s an animal that died in that location and position and it was buried [underneath minerals], and then the sands blew away revealing it again,” Waring continued.

Although Waring strongly believes that the object in the photo could be an alien fossil or statue, it is most likely just an odd-shaped rock on Mars. Based on NASA’s photo, the object’s color, texture and appearance are very similar to those of the other rocks in its surroundings.
