  • "Vikings" Season 6 will bring back Bjorn and King Harald
  • The two characters may not be dead
  • The show is expected to return by November

After the events on “Vikings” Season 6, the big question fans have is whether the lead characters Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) and King Harald (Peter Franzén) are dead. While it looks like it is the end for the two characters, show creator Michael Hirst and Ludwig offered the fans some hope in a recent interview.

In an interview with ET Online, when Ludwig was asked about whether Bjorn is dead the actor pointed out that the show didn’t explicitly kill his character. The actor did not elaborate on his comment because he has been asked not to speak on the subject.

Hirst offered a little more explanation. He said that although Bjorn and King Harald are badly wounded their deaths were not featured on the show. He pointed out that the two characters can be alive because the fans haven’t seen them die on screen just yet.

The wounds of Bjorn and King Harald are severe. Hirst admitted that even though the two characters may return in the next part of “Vikings” Season 6, they don’t have too long to live. Will the TV series end with the death of all these major characters?

If Bjorn is dead already, he will still return on the show. In an interview with TV Guide, Ludwig teased that his character will return on the show “in some way, shape, or form.” Will the character return as a ghost to guide the next generation of warriors? If he is dead, the fans can expect another big funeral when the show returns.

The next part “Vikings” Season 6 doesn’t have a release date yet. According to Screen Rant, the show will be back later this year. Going by the previous schedule of the TV series, the fans can expect the mid-season premiere to be around November.
