The Weeknd sure knows how to keep his fans on their toes. The 31-year-old singer decided to take a walk down the memory lane as he dropped an alternate music video for his 2015 smash hit “Can't Feel My Face” and it’s a lot racier than the original.

The video starts with The Weeknd getting intimate with his love interest in a bedroom. The pair then leaves for a steamy night out in the town, hitting up a club to go dancing.

Though their connection seems electric while they dance, The Weeknd is temporarily abandoned by the girl when she goes to the bathroom to get up close and personal with another girl.

After leaving the club, the girl is a mess of emotions. She can be seen crying outside of a convenience store. The Weeknd does little to console her and later she is shown sharing an intimate moment with the singer in a cab, before cutting to scenes of her dancing and sprinting.

By dawn, the girl goes to bed while The Weeknd contemplates the night's events.

The original music video features The Weeknd performing to a small, unimpressed audience in a hotel lounge until an audience member throws a lighter onstage and the crowd begins dancing as The Weeknd dances while on fire.

The “Starboy” singer shared the video on Instagram with the caption "6 years of BBTM," also known as his second album, "Beauty Behind the Madness."

Back in 2015, when “Can’t Feel My Face” was first released, the song hit the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in August and went on to enjoy the top spot for 41 weeks.

The song, along with "Earned It" from the "50 Shades of Gray" soundtrack, also helped The Weeknd become a mainstream figure in pop music.

The "Can't Feel My Face" remake comes in amid promotional activities, as he is all set to release his next album “After Hours." Just weeks back, his 2019 single “Blinding Lights” became the longest-charting song on Billboard Hot 100, beating Imagine Dragons' “Radioactive.”

He is also set to be co-writing and starring in a new HBO series titled "The Idol" with Sam Levinson. The singer will also be featured in the documentary "The Show," which chronicles his eye-popping Super Bowl Halftime Show performance earlier this year. "The Show" is set for a Sept. 4 release.
