A West Virginia resident suspect of dumping the body of an overdose victim whom he supplied with drugs was indicted on the charges against him.

Dontae Marcellus Sanders, 28, was indicted on a felony murder charge on Monday; he alsoe faced charges of distributing illegal drugs and concealment of a dead body, US News reported.

According to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office, the body of Ashley Nicole Childs, 28, was found in a ditch in October and it was Sanders who was accused of giving Childs drugs and discarding her body in the ditch when she died of overdose.

The felony murder charge will have a sentence of five to 40 years in jail.

It is still unknown when the suspect will appear in court.
