Westworld
Ed Harris will reprise his role as the Man in Black in “Westworld” Season 2. HBO

No need to wait until Sunday to get your fix of HBO’s new series, “Westworld.” The premium cable network announced on Friday that streaming for episode 2 is currently available on HBO Now, HBO Go and HBO On Demand.

Those who subscribe to HBO — or borrow a password from someone — can catch episode 2, titled “Chestnut,” before its normal airtime at 9 p.m. ET. According to the synopsis, the new installment will focus on a pair of guests — a Westworld first-timer named William (Jimmi Simpson) and a repeat visitor, Logan (Ben Barnes). The two will enter the fantasy world with “different expectations and agendas.” What neither knows is that something odd is going on with the hosts.

Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) and Theresa (Sidse Babett Knudsen) are still trying to figure out if the “recent host anomaly is contagious.” Others working behind-the-scenes don’t appear to be as worried. In fact, Elsie, an engineer working at Wesworld, seems to play favorites with hosts. She “tweaks the emotions” of Madam Maeve (Thandie Newton) in order to “avoid a recall.” Elsewhere, programmer Lee (Simon Quarterman) is only concerned about the next narrative. He pitches his idea, but the episode description teases that Dr. Ford (Anthony Hopkins) “has other ideas.”

And viewers can’t forget about the Man in Black (Ed Harris). When we last saw him he was looking for a new game hidden deep within Westworld, and scalped one of the hosts in order to gain answers. His exact motives are unclear, but he’ll force a “condemned man to help him uncover Westworld’s deepest secrets.”

As mentioned above, you can watch episode 2 of “Westworld” on HBO On Demand or HBO Go, which comes free with your subscription. HBO Now is available for $14.99 a month to those who do not have a TV package.
