Switched at Birth

“Switched at Birth” Season 5 left off with Daphne and Bay righting wrongs and facing their problems. However, after meeting a woman who claims to have Angelo’s heart, the girls are in for a nostalgic ride as the Freeform series debuts its 100th episode.

What will happen when “Switched at Birth” returns in two weeks?

In the promo for “Switched at Birth” Season 5, episode 7, Daphne (Katie Leclerc) is seen talking to Angelo (Gilles Marini) as if he is still alive. Although there are not many details revealed about their conversation it looks as if the two are having a heart-to-heart.

In the clip for “Memory (The Heart),” Angelo can be seen telling Daphne that her life has been pretty rough since he has died while Daphne tearfully responds that she wishes he was still around.

In another clip, Daphne, Bay (Vanessa Marano) and Regina (Constance Marie) are seen playfully following Angelo looking as if they are enjoying a family day. Whether the memory is a flashback or a moment created by one of the “Switched at Birth” characters is unclear.

Daphne is later seen speaking with someone who plans on looking into Ally (Tristin Mays), the woman who approached her revealing that she received Angelo’s heart when he died.

In the Freeform promo, Bay can be seen spending time with Ally and even places her hand on her heart to feel it beat. However, things may not be as great as they seem because Bay and Daphne can be seen speaking to Ally and asking her if she lied about everything.

For those who may not remember, Angelo died after suffering head trauma from a car crash. Angelo got into the accident after a fight with Regina. Following his death, Daphne blamed her mother for his fatal car accident and acted out for a long time before finally getting her life together.

Is Ally looking for a handout? It’s no secret that the Kennish family has money, even if Regina is well-off with her coffee shop business. Only time will tell what the mysterious young woman is really after.

“Switched at Birth” Season 5 will resume on Tuesday, March 21, at 9 p.m. EST on Freeform.​
