Football fans can expect Houston's NRG Stadium to be filled to capacity on Super Bowl Sunday. More than likely, tailgaters will have the stadium's parking lot jam packed too. However, viewers hoping to get in on some of the game day action shouldn't worry about being left out, because there are several bars and restaurants across the nation hosting watch parties during Super Bowl LI.

In some major cities, there are restaurants and bars that stand out.

Del Frisco's Grill in Houston

Eat like your favorite football player on Super Bowl Sunday at Del Frisco’s Grille, which will offer signature items like Ahi tuna tacos, prime beef short rib stroganoff and coconut cream pie during game time. If you’re lucky, you may just catch NFL star Brock Osweiler chowing down on cheesesteak eggrolls while catching the game at the Grille to since he is known to visit the Houston hotspot from time to time. The restaurant opens at 11 a.m.

Lowcounty in Chicago

The popular Wrigleyville seafood bar is hosting a $60 all-you-can-eat seafood buffet featuring delectable menu items like snow crab, shrimp, crawfish, mussels, potatoes and corn on the cob. If seafood isn’t enough to fuel up for the big game, there will also be chicken wings, chili and corn dogs available. Of course, the drinks will be steadily flowing as well with signature cocktails like Lowcountry Limeade, Hurricane and The One & Done. Brew buckets will be available for $20 mix and match Miller Light, Bud Light, PBR Tall Boy and Coors Light or $25 mix and match buckets filled with Stella Artois, Corona, Wheat and Modelo Especial.

American Social in Miami

The Miami bar may be flooded with American patriotism, but that doesn’t necessarily mean only New England Patriots fans are allowed to check out the game on American Social’s 46-foot LED floating TV. The bar, which features a patio on the Miami River, will have plenty of large TVs for spectators to watch the game on while guzzling down $20 buckets of Heineken/Heineken Light and Dos Equis/Dos Equis Amber as well as $5 Jack Fire and Jack Honey shots.

The Nickel Mine in Los Angeles

If watching the Super Bowl on The Nickel Mine’s four-panel flat screen TV isn’t enough, the bar will keep patrons entertained on Sunday with board games, a pool table and a cocktail program strong enough to keep game-watchers happy no matter which team wins. If specialty cocktails aren’t enough to quench game day anxiety, the bar’s $4 happy hour between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday should definitely do the trick.
