Before “Magic Mike,” “Will& Grace,” and “The Sinner,” Matt Bomer was most known for playing Neal Caffrey on USA Network’s “White Collar.” The show ended after six seasons in 2014, but it seems like it could be coming back.

Executive producer Jeff Eastin tweeted on Wednesday confirming that he had talked to Bomer, and they have some sort of plan in mind. A network hasn’t bought the revival yet, but it seems clear that Eastin has a premise in mind for the new “White Collar.”

Fans might get more info at a virtual “White Collar” reunion on Thursday night. The cast will be on “Stars in the House,” the live stream fundraiser for The Actor’s Fund hosted by Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley. The lineup includes Matt Bomer (Neal Caffrey), Tim DeKay (Peter Burke), Sharif Atkins (Clinton Jones), Hilarie Burton (Sara Ellis), Willie Garson (Mozzie), Marsha Thomason (Diana Berrigan), and Tiffani Thiessen (Elizabeth Burke) and will live stream on the Stars in the House website at 8 p.m. EDT on Thursday.

The reunion and revival may have been spurred by last week’s Twitter exchange. On April 28, Eastin told a fan that he was “working hard” to make some type of reunion happen. Bomer encouraged him to make it sooner rather than later.

Eastin responded by saying the fedora was waiting for Bomer, and the star replied with a simple, “I’m in.”

Tim Dekay and Hilarie Burton expressed their interest as well.

“White Collar” followed con man Neal Caffrey after he was caught by FBI agent Peter Burke and turned into a consultant of sorts. As a con man, Neal knows all the dirty tricks and tips that Peter doesn’t, and their partnership becomes pretty epic over the course of six seasons.

So is “White Collar” coming back for a movie? A full season? No details are available yet. However, Eastin noted that the show is property of 20th Century Fox, now owned by Disney. The Mouse House owns several TV networks, including ABC, and streaming services, including Hulu, which currently streams the series.

For now, fans will just have to settle for reliving “White Collar” by rewatching all six seasons, which are currently streaming on Hulu (with a subscription) and IMDb TV (free with ads).
