CBS has paid actress Eliza Dushku a secret $9.5 million settlement for claims of sexual misconduct and wrongful termination, the New York Times reported Thursday.

Dushku, who is married to Peter Palandjian, CEO of Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation, experienced verbal harassment in 2017 on the set of CBS prime-time drama “Bull,” which included sexual remarks from series star Michael Weatherly. Dushku was written off the show for reporting the harassment.

She claimed that Weatherly made lewd comments about her appearance saying “Here comes legs” when she reached the sets. He would also comment about spanking Dushku over his knee in front of the cast and crew and also inquire about a threesome involving him, Dushku and another male crew member.

Interview notes from an internal investigation, which began in September, said she felt “disgusted and violated” following the incidents. A few days after she confronted Weatherly about his behavior, her character was written off the show.

In a statement to the New York Times on Wednesday, CBS confirmed the settlement.

“The allegations in Ms. Dushku’s claims are an example that, while we remain committed to a culture defined by a safe, inclusive and respectful workplace, our work is far from done. The settlement of these claims reflects the projected amount that Ms. Dushku would have received for the balance of her contract as a series regular, and was determined in a mutually agreed upon mediation process at the time,” the statement said.

Weatherly too issued an apology saying, “During the course of taping our show, I made some jokes mocking some lines in the script. When Eliza told me that she wasn’t comfortable with my language and attempt at humor, I was mortified to have offended her and immediately apologized. After reflecting on this further, I better understand that what I said was both not funny and not appropriate and I am sorry and regret the pain this caused Eliza.”

Dushku, who is known for her work on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” married Palandjian in August this year in a courtyard at the Boston Public Library.

Before getting into real estate, Palandjian, 54, a native of Massachusetts, played professional tennis in the late 1980 and also defeated Pat McEnroe at the NCAA Championships in 1986. He also partnered with Grand Slam champ Jim Courier before retiring from the sport in 1989.

Your Tango reported he was married before and had four children. However, not much is known about his love life. Dushku and Palandjian started seeing each other in 2014 after she broke up with Rick Fox. They kept their relationship private and announced their engagement in June 2017. The couple announced their marriage through an Instagram post in September.
