Will Nicki Minaj Delay New Album To Have A Baby With Nas?

Nicki Minaj fans who have been patiently waiting for the rapper to release a new album became very emotional over the weekend when the “No Frauds” artist hinted that she may delay the album even longer, depending on a potential pregnancy.

On Sunday, Minaj, who has been dating fellow rapper Nas for several months, caused a stir on Twitter, when she asked fans whether they wanted her to have a baby or release her fourth studio album. “Y’all want the album or the baby? Cuz ch- y’all ain’t bout to get both,” she tweeted.

Fans had mixed responses to the artist’s ultimatum, seeing as they would like to see her have a baby, but she has not released an album since her 2014 EP, “The Pinkprint.”

One fan was upset that they were being forced to make a choice and suggested Minaj release an album and have her baby. “Don’t give us any ultimatums sis! If Beyonce can multitask....so can the best rapper alive! PeriodT,” the fan wrote.

Another fan expressed their frustration over the wait for the fourth album. “@NICKIMINAJ well technically the album is gonna be your musical baby but I see you’re still not even pregnant with that yet,” the fan tweeted, along with a Gif of Kim Kardashian rolling her eyes.

Meanwhile, one fan was actually supportive of a baby in lieu of the album. “The baby will bring peace unto the world. I’m ready,” the fan wrote.

While Minaj seems to be leaning more so towards releasing her album rather than having her first child, her relationship with Nas seems to be getting more serious.

On Sunday, Minaj also posted two photos of the artist on her Instagram page, where many fans showed their support for the couple in the comment section.

Minaj was first romantically linked to Nas in May, when the two shared the same photo on their Instagram accounts. Minaj further fueled romance rumors when she appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” later that month, sharing details about her new romance.

Although a baby might not be on the way just yet, it seems like Minaj and Nas’ relationship is more than just a fling.
