Ryan Reynolds has the habit of making references to Hugh Jackman and his “Wolverine” character in the “Deadpool” movies, and now the Aussie actor has taken to social media to talk about his “rival.” Jackman shared an old picture of an injury he suffered on set, and he blamed the Wade Wilson actor for it.

“Seriously?” Jackman jokingly wrote in an Instagram post.

The picture was taken on the sets of the 2000 film “X-Men,” in which Jackman played the role of Wolverine for the very first time. The actor suffered two small cuts on his left hand on the set back then, and he jokingly blamed Reynolds for it.

The online “feud” between Jackman and Renolds has been ongoing for a long time. The two “Deadpool” movies also make references to both Wolverine and the Aussie actor.

In a previously shared video, Reynolds and Jackman wanted to announce an end to their feud. They planned to do that with each one of them making an advertisement for each other’s companies. While the “Deadpool” actor made a professional looking video with a heartfelt message about the Laughing Man Coffee company, Jackman didn’t take the effort seriously and joked about Reynolds’ Aviation gin company.

If there was any doubt about whether or not the feud was going to continue, Reynolds put the speculation to rest by sharing a picture of him chatting with Jackman. In the post, the “Deadpool” actor wished Jake Gyllenhaal a happy friendship day, and he specifically mentioned that the actor is not pictured in the post.

Jackman ended his commitment to Wolverine after he reprised the role one last time in the 2017 film “Logan.” The actor is currently working on some other acting projects like “Bad Education,” “The Good Spy,” and “Reminiscence.”

Reynolds on the other hand is busy with “Deadpool 3.” It remains to be seen if he will be making any more Wolverine references in his film.
