"Wonder Woman 1984" debuted on HBO Max and select theatres on Christmas Day. Gal Gadot returned in the titular role of the superheroine saving the world from villains -- Maxwell Lord and Cheetah.

In her recent post on Twitter, the actress revealed her favorite scene from the movie.

The 35-year-old actress participated in a virtual “WW84” watch party with fans which concluded with a Twitter Q&A session. When one of her fans asked Gadot and movie director Petty Jenkins about their best scene from the movie, Gadot said it is difficult to pick one.

“@PattyJenks @GalGadot What scene did you enjoy shooting the most / are you the most proud [sic] of and why?” the fan tweeted.

To this, Gadot responded by saying: “Hard to answer since I had different special moments.. but the one that means the most to me is the one at the end between max and WW.”

“WW84” begins with a scene from Diana’s childhood wherein she participates in a multi-stage athletic competition competing against older Amazonians. The movie takes place in the year 1984, 60 years after the first film. She is working as a senior anthropologist at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. when she learns about the “Dreamstone” and greedy businessman Maxwell Lord who becomes the embodiment of the ancient stone to fulfill his desires.

In the final scene, Diana chooses to appeal to the Lord instead of killing him and destroying the Dreamstone. It is one of the most emotional scenes of the movie where Diana confronts Lord forcing him to give up his desire to become the most powerful and influential man in the world, which results in nothing but chaos and suffering. The only way to reverse the exchange is by renouncing the wish or destroying the stone itself. In the finale, Gadot reaches out to the Lord’s good side and gets him to renounce his wishes.

Sending out a message of hope and goodness, “WW84” broke records and also delivered enormous ticket sales during the pandemic.

"Wonder Woman 1984" broke records and exceeded our expectations across all of our key viewing and subscriber metrics in its first 24 hours on the service, and the interest and momentum we’re seeing indicates this will likely continue well beyond the weekend,” said Andy Forssell, head of WarnerMedia’s direct-to-consumer business in a statement (via Variety). “During these very difficult times, it was nice to give families the option of enjoying this uplifting film at home, where theater viewing wasn’t an option.”

The third and final chapter in the “Wonder Woman” trilogy will see the return of Gadot and Jenkins.
