Instagram has become much more than just a social media app for posting pictures — it’s also a great resource for connecting, networking and keeping up with people. Soon Instagrammers will have the chance to unite with their Instagram friends in an even more meaningful way when the photo app hosts its very own Worldwide InstaMeet 14 on Saturday and Sunday.

2016 marks the 14th ever Worldwide InstaMeet. During the previous InstaMeet in April, users were encouraged to explore their creativity by showcasing the beauty of the planet during the Earth Day-inspired Worldwide InstaMeet 13.

This time around, Instagram is beefing up the InstaMeet content with one thing most people can easily bond over — food. Gear up for all the #FoodPorn that will surely flood your Instagram feed over the upcoming weekend and find out how to participate in the latest Worldwide InstaMeet below:

What is an InstaMeet? InstaMeet is a community of Instagrammers who meet up and take photos and videos together. Users can create their own group or make new friends by joining other InstaMeet groups in their area. To find an InstaMeet group to join, check out Instagram’s handy map.

What is needed to join an InstaMeet? All that’s needed to participate in any Worldwide InstaMeet is an Instagram account and a device enabled with the social media app.

How to join an InstaMeet: All users have to do is show up to a group in their area to join an InstaMeet. If users want to create their own group, they must come up with a creative place to meet and spread the word to their Instagram friends.

Users can create their own unique InstaMeet whenever they want just by making a hashtag and ensuring everyone in their group uses it on their posts.
