'Yashahime: Princess Half Demon' Episode 29 Spoilers: Kirinmaru's Daughter Rion

Rion gives the Kyuyokon root to Towa, Setsuna and Moroha in "Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon" Episode 29. The new episode is called "The Girl Named Rion."

The official promo trailer of Episode 29 shows Rion opening up to the three girls. She tells them she is tired of Kirinmaru's selfishness and wants them to defeat him and save the world.

She adds Towa and the others are worthy of having the Star-Slicer Flute and the Kyuyokon root.

In Episode 28 of "Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon," titled "The Barrier of Mount Musubi," the three girls arrived at the mysterious mountain that was teeming with massive amounts of demon energy.

Moroha sensed the presence of someone and it was Rion, daughter of Kirinmaru. Rion was shown dreaming about a battle between Kirinmaru and the Great Dog Demon Toga.

In her dream, Kirinmaru lost the battle but Toga spared him because Rion was watching the fight. Toga told Kirinmaru to never bring a child to the battlefield.

Elsewhere, Sesshomaru found out about Towa and company going to Mount Musubi. Jaken revealed it was the mountain where Rion was trapped in a barrier.

At Mount Musubi, Moroha decided to enter but Setsuna cautioned her it was no ordinary barrier that they could go past easily.

Moroha told them the core of the mountain was likely full of sacred power. But she eventually ran into something unexpected.

"The three girls arrive at Mount Musubi but are trapped by a powerful barrier. Moroha manages to escape and runs into something unexpected," read the synopsis of Episode 28, according to Hulu.
