He has sworn that there is nothing to Juliet’s sexual harassment claims, but some damaging evidence which contradicts Cane could be presented on the Wednesday, June 21 episode of “The Young and the Restless,” And when that evidence surfaces, it could destroy everything in his life.

After she was fired from Brash and Sassy over the incident with the hockey video, Juliet (Laur Allen) fired back with a lawsuit that claimed Cane (Daniel Goddard) had committed sexual harassment against her on the CBS Soap. Knowing that they had sex together during a drunken hook-up in Tokyo, Juliet used what happened that night to claim that Cane coerced her into sleeping with him in exchange for a job with the company. Though Cane knows he hooked up with Juliet, he also knows he didn’t force her into sex, and because he’s afraid the hook-up alone will end his marriage to Lily (Christel Khalil), he has maintained his innocence.

Because the conflict has not been settled, it is set to head to court, and the depositions have now begun for everyone involved in the case. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) got emotional while defending Cane, and even warned Juliet to stop things before she ruined her own reputation with lies. Now, Juliet, Lily and Cane will all be called to the stand as well.

Juliet will claim that on the night in Tokyo, she had wanted to discuss a job recommendation with Cane, but he suggested they have some fun before discussing things. That led to the two getting drunk and allegedly hooking up, after which she claims Cane then brought up the job conversation again. Cane will admittedly claim he doesn’t remember everything about what happened that night, but will still swear his innocence.

But, when Leslie (Angel Conwell) then decides to share some new evidence Cane didn’t know existed, not only will Victoria, Billy (Jason Thompson), and Michael (Christian LeBlanc) be stunned—but so will Lily.

“What’s this about?” Michael asks in a preview clip.

“Hotel footage from the night in question,” Leslie replies.

Now, everyone will see that something did happen between Cane and Juliet, as the footage will clearly show them both going into his hotel room, with Juliet helping him as he is clearly intoxicated, that night. The footage will then how her leaving his room the following morning. While what happened behind the closed door will still be a mystery, it will be very clear that the two at least spent the night together in the room.

Now, Cane may need to confess to what happened that night, even though he still doesn’t remember actually sleeping with Juliet, though he knows he woke up next to her, naked. She has since convinced him however that they did sleep together, and he’s believed it. But now, he’ll need to not only confess that he did have sex, which will possibly destroy everything he shares with Lily, but he will need to find a way to prove that it wasn’t forced sex. And not only will he need to find some way to prove it so it can save his marriage, but he will need to find a way to prove it so he can save his job as well.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
