It's set to be a big night for Ashley as she received a coveted business award, but the secret drama boiling beneath the surface for the Abbott family could threaten to destroy everything on the Wednesday, Oct. 11 episode of "The Young and the Restless."

Ashley (Eileen Davidson) is being honored with a coveted award that was once given to John, which has led to it being a cause for celebration amongst the Abbott clan. However, her frustrations over her mother, Dina (Marla Adams) refusing to accept that Graham (Max Shippee) is up to no good are still upsetting her, and she wants to use the night to force her mother to accept the truth about her constant companion. However, Jack (Peter Bergman) will encourage her to drop the suspicions for the night, so she and the rest of the family can focus on what's most important.

"Tonight's about celebrating you, among the people you care about," he says in a preview clip.

However, Ashley is still determined to expose the truth, and after learning from Ravi (Abhi Sinha) that Graham has been asking to attend the awards event with Dina, she has extended an invitation to him. The move will surprise Dina, who will express delight and surprise that Ashley seems to have put differences aside and is willing to finally accept Graham.

"I'm just so surprised that Ashley even invited you," she says to Graham in the clip.

"I don't think that it will be the last surprise before the evening is over," Graham replies.

What Dina doesn't know is that Ashley's suspicions are correct, and Graham is actually using her for something evil and humiliating. Though the suspicions that he was after Dina's money and was trying to take over and become more important to her than her own children were put aside, the fact that he lied about not having a mother is still out there. As it turns out, he is working with his mother, Myrna, to get revenge on Dina, because of the fact that Ashley is not actually John Abbott's daughter, but Brent Davis'. As it turns out, Brent left Myrna and Graham, his wife and son, to be with Dina, and the two want revenge on Dina for what that did to their lives.

Now that Graham has an invitation to a huge Abbott family event, he will likely plan to expose the truth once and for all, getting the revenge he wants and humiliating Dina in a way she never imagined. However, his plans could also be changed after Traci (Beth Maitland) goes to Ashley with the information she has since learned about Graham Davis—a kid who went to their high school who was a quiet loner.

Now, Ashley may finally see all the pieces together and it will all click into place. With the truth finally in front of her, she will need to figure out a way to prevent Graham from destroying Dina.

"The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
