young and the restless
Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) seeks an alibi on the April 16, 2019 episode of “The Young and the Restless.” CBS

She previously had an alibi that kept Rey from arresting her for the attack that nearly killed his sister, but after learning she is really pregnant and the baby could be his brother’s, Mia will be on the hunt for a new story that will cover her tracks and keep her out of prison on the Tuesday, April 16 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) was stunned when she learned she really was pregnant on the CBS soap, and after doing the math, she realized there was a good chance that the baby is actually Arturo’s (Jason Canela), not Rey’s (Jordi Villasousa). As a result, she knows that she could be at risk of Rey turning her in for attacking Lola (Sasha Calle) on Valentine’s Night, after he initially opted not to arrest her for the crime because he thought she was pregnant with his child. Now, she will seek whatever she can to protect herself from going to jail for a long time.

“Mia requires an alibi,” spoilers reveal.

However, if she seeks Arturo out for the story that protects her, he may become furious. Not only will he be as angry as Rey was because his sister nearly died due to her actions, but he’ll also be livid that her intended target was Abby (Melissa Ordway). Still, when she shares she is pregnant and the baby is likely his, he too could find himself drawn to helping her, since, like Rey, he doesn’t want his child born in prison.

With no one else to turn to, Arturo may then see if his brother is willing to make a deal with him, regardless of how the relationship between them has soured.

“Arturo wants to make a deal with Rey,” spoilers tease.

If the brothers do come to a mutual decision about what to do, then Mia may get the alibi she wishes to have—but keeping the secret will still come at a cost.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
