A man in Turkey has reportedly admitted to killing his 10-year-old son to get him into heaven without the burden of sin.

The horrific incident happened in the Turkish province of Konya on March 8. The police said that 32-year-old Ismail Kilincer has admitted to murdering his 10-year-old son Huseyin.

Kilincer had reportedly told his son that he was going to be murdered. He apparently apologized to him, hugged him and kissed him before strangling him to death.

“I told my son that I was going to kill him. I apologized to my son, and hugged and kissed him,” Kilincer told the police. The boy kissed him back saying “Daddy, I’m sorry too,” he added, reported news outlet The News Tribe.

Kilincer was feeling guilty about his lifestyle and believed that his son was the only perfect thing in his life. He also believed that his son was a pure soul as the boy had never done anything wrong. Kilincer said that he decided to send him to heaven while he was still without any sin.

“I have sinned a lot and I will go to Hell. My son would go on to sin as he grew older too. The longer a person lives, the more they sin,” Killincer told the police, reported news outlet 7News.

Kilincer told the police that on the day of the incident, he deliberately sent his wife Rabia Kilincer to shop. He then sat on the boy’s legs and strangled him to death with his bare hands. Kilncer then locked the door and called the police to report that he has killed someone.

The police arrived at the scene to find Huseyin dead and his body was taken to a hospital for an autopsy.

The investigators found out that Kilincer had planned the murder two weeks in advance.

“I didn’t want my son to fall into temptation as he grows up and become like me. I wanted to send him to Heaven while he was still without sin,” Kilincer told the police. The investigation is still underway.
