DAYS
Will (Chandler Massey) had a huge setback on “Days of Our Lives.” XJ Johnson/JPI Studios for NBC

The drama was cranked into extremely high gear this week on “Days of Our Lives,” “The Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful,’ as the soaps began preparing for some huge twists ahead of May Sweeps.

With shocking betrayals, lives on the line, romantic proposals and jaw-dropping secrets, there was no shortage of moments that made things dull in Salem, Genoa City or Los Angeles. In case you happened to miss a minute or two however, here are the four biggest moments that unfolded during the week of April 15.

“Days Of Our Lives” (NBC)

Will Has A Setback

He was already unsettled by the news that he had a brain tumor, but Will (Chandler Massey) faced a new setback this week after his biopsy was put on hold temporarily when he suffered from a seizure before going in. While he and Sonny (Freddie Smith) have both been assured that seizing was normal behavior, it was another moment that scared them both because it served as a reminder that this situation could be more dangerous than they thought—and could keep them from reuniting for good as they’d planned.

Gabi And Ciara Wind Up In Danger

Days of Our Lives
Gabi (Camila Banus) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) are held hostage by a cartel member on the April 18, 2019 episode of “Days of Our Lives.” XJ Johnson/JPI Studios for NBC

The Cartel came back to Salem for Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and Stefan (Brandon Barash), and while she was briefly in danger as well, it was Gabi (Camila Banus) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) who became innocents caught in the cross-fire. Both women were present at the DiMera Mansion when a cartel member came for Stefan, making them both hostages. Things got even worse however when Gabi’s brother, Rafe (Galen Gering) got shot as he happened onto the scene—and Ciara became a true hostage when she was dragged out of the mansion. Now, as Rafe recovers and Gabi tries to move past her shock, the race is on for Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) as they try to track down and save Ciara before it’s too late.

“Young And The Restless” (CBS)

Billy Proposes To Victoria

They finally reunited and had agreed to take it slow—but Billy (Jason Thompson) decided to try his luck anyway when it came to his relationship with Victoria (Amelia Heinle). After getting a ring, he once again proposed to her but was interrupted when Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) barged in to speak with him. In the end, however, Victoria told Billy it was too soon, and while she would consider marrying him again in the future, for now, her answer was a no.

“Bold And The Beautiful” (CBS)

Flo Confesses To Shauna

It was a big week for Flo (Katrina Bowden) when she learned her father was none other than Storm Logan, making her Hope’s (Annika Noelle) cousin. The reveal quickly also led to her alleged pregnancy secret being revealed to her mother, Shauna (Denise Richards), however, and she was forced to admit to the entire baby swap story. However, after admitting her guilt and stating she wanted to tell Hope the truth, Flo was stunned when her mother encouraged her to still keep the secret in the end.

To see how these stories continue to play out next week, tune in to "Days of Our Lives," weekdays on NBC, "The Young and the Restless," weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS, and "The Bold and the Beautiful," weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
