On Friday the 13th, something extra spooky and creepy hit social media: The final Season 2 trailer for Netflix’s “Stranger Things.”

The almost-three-minute trailer of the nine-episode new season of “Stranger Things” offers up a lot of quick information about what’s to come. Let’s break it down.

1. Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) Is Back, With Her Waffles.

The trailer opens with the return of Eleven, who’s in the woods, out in the snow, opening up her box that contains the waffle we saw at the end of last season. While her love of waffles remains the same, the head of curly hair she’s sporting at the end of the trailer is brand new.

2. The Upside Down Thoroughly Changed Will (Noah Schnapp).

The darkness that we saw in Will at the end of Season 1 is nowhere near gone, and only seems to have gotten stronger. He’s having visions of some sort of “shadow,” and while some think it’s only just his mind playing tricks on him after everything he’s been through, those involved with the strangeness that happened in Season 1 know better. Something is coming for their hometown of Hawkins, Indiana and it’s nothing good.

3. Will’s Mom, Joyce (Winona Ryder), Is Still Trying To Help Her Son And Is Demanding Answers.

She might have Will back, but Joyce isn’t going to stop making herself heard until people figure out what is wrong with him and why he seems to the messenger of this darkness. The trailer shows tests being run on Will, which we can only assume is to help figure out what’s going on with him. Though, as it’s a supernatural issue, these tests might fail to do much.

4. There Are New Characters, Max (Sadie Sink) And Billy (Dacre Montgomery), In Season 2.

When the young boys realize that a new enemy is afoot, they decide they need “as much help” as they can get, which is where Max and Billy come in. How these new characters will fit into the unique friendship dynamic between Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard), though, remains to be seen.

5. Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) And Nancy (Natalia Dyer) Reunite, While Steve (Joe Keery) Gears Up To Fight.

With the darkness looming over Hawkins, Jonathan and Nancy find themselves back together, once again trying to solve the problem at hand, with Nancy even joking, “Don’t you think it’s weird how we only seem to hang out when the world’s about to end?”

Meanwhile in the trailer, Nancy’s other love interest, Steve, probes he’s used to strange at this point and even has the battle-ready, spiked-baseball-bat weapon in his trunk to prove it

The new trailer isn’t the only glimpse at the new season the streaming service gave fans this week. On Thursday, the episode titles for the first seven episodes, which are “MADMAX,” “Trick or Treat, Freak,” “The Pollywog,” “Will the Wise,” “Dig Dug,” and “The Spy” in that order, were announced. But fans will just have to wait and see for chapters seven through nine, as the service is keep hush on those titles for now.

Here’s the official synopsis for the season to come: “ It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.”

If all of that isn’t enough to keep you entertained and your mind racing until the premiere on Oct. 27, then perhaps a little shopping will do the trick. Not just shopping for anything, though, but for “Stranger Things” products to help you get in the spooky and strange mood.

Netflix and Target have partnered to create “Stranger Things” clothes, accessories and houseware products to be sold ahead of the show’s Season 2 release. The goods debut on Oct. 15, which will give fans almost two weeks to stock up and surround themselves with “Stranger” items like mugs, pajamas, Funko! Pop character toys and even a DVD set of Season 1 to get your binge on, or to help get your friend’s binge on. The DVD comes out a little later than the other products, with an Oct. 17 release.

Catch Season 2 of “Stranger Things” when it premieres on Netflix on Oct. 27.
