Colt & Larissa
“90 Day Fiancé” fans think Colt insulted his wife Larissa on Instagram. TLC

“90 Day Fiancé” Season 6 stars Colt and Larissa have been one of the most controversial couples on the TLC series. While fans have watched the two deal with arrests and most recently divorce proceedings, a few lashed out at Colt after he shared a post on Instagram that appeared to be directed at his soon-to-be ex-wife.

Colt filed for divorce from Larissa last month, shortly after the Brazil native’s second arrest for domestic violence. Amid their relationship drama, fans became upset when Colt used a shady caption to post a Valentine’s Day flyer.

Colt shared a photo of an advertisement offering singles the opportunity to rent him as a date for Valentine’s Day. “Better than asking for donations I guess,” he captioned the picture.

While some fans believed the “90 Day Fiancé” star was simply joking, others saw it as a cruel jab at his wife. Following their split, Larissa created a GoFundMe page asking for donations to help pay for her divorce and a “new start.”

One fan wanted Colt to consider reflecting on the past and stop feuding with Larissa. “Isn’t it pathetic to insult ur ex wife?! She meant something to u at some point?! I don’t understand why you are using social media as a means to attack one another, and perhaps her donations are getting her by since at this point she is stuck here without much going on in terms of livelihood.”

“Did you forget she up and left her life in a different country so she could come and be with you?! I’m not saying u don’t deserve respect but this is cheap even for u,” the IG user wrote in the comment section of the post.

Meanwhile, one of Larissa’s fans wanted the Las Vegas resident to stop taunting his wife on social media. “1 more thing Colt, Larissa may not speak perfect englishe! But she is way more classy than you,” the individual wrote.

“She has not once insulted you like you have on IG and only talked facts since the incident, for that I respect her and I don’t like you. Because you think this whole thing is a joke,” the fan added.

Colt and Larissa no longer follow one another on Instagram. While Larissa is still in the United States as the couple works on completing their divorce, it is unclear whether she will be allowed to stay once it is finalized.
