"Today" show co-host Al Roker could not contain his enthusiasm at the inaugural parade on Monday afternoon, dropping his microphone after getting to shake hands with Vice President Joe Biden.

In a back-and-forth exchange of words, after being encouraged by NBC hosts Brian Williams and David Gregory, Al Roker tried to get the attention of President Obama, shouting “Mr. President” several times, before grabbing Obama’s attention.

“How’s is going? Is the weather good?” Roker then asked. President Obama smiled and gave Roker a thumbs up sign, and said “The weather is great,” as he pointed to the sky and continued walking.

Roker then tried to get the attention of Vice President Joe Biden, shouting, “Mr. Vice President, hey how are you doing?” Biden looked very excited to see Roker, at first saying the Secret Service wouldn’t let him discontinue his walk down the designated path.

However, right after, Biden quickly ran over to Roker, much to the weatherman’s surprise.

“Yeah, alright .. Yes … Yes!” Roker cheered, as onlooking police officials smiled. Roker then smiled widely, threw his hands in air, dropped the microphone, and, looking at the camera, shouted, “I’m done!!” before jokingly walking away from the camera.

Evidently, Roker gets very excited when covering the White House. Earlier this month, he admitted to "pooping his pants" while in a press room there.

“When you have a bypass and your bowel’s been reconstructed, you think you’re pretty safe,” Roker said during a “Dateline” interview. “And I probably went off and ate something I wasn’t supposed to, and as I’m walking to the [White House] press room ... I got to pass a little gas here. So I’m walking by myself — who’s going to know — only a little something extra came out.

“I pooped my pants,” Roker continued. “Not horribly, but enough that I knew. So I was panicking. So I got to the restroom in the press room, threw out the underwear, you know, and just went commando.”

Since Roker admitted this embarrasing experience, other celebrities have been quick to joke about it. Comedian Chelsea Handler said on her E! show, "Chelsea Lately," "This isn’t the first time a ‘Today’ show cast member was in the news about this sensitive subject. For years it was common knowledge that Matt Lauer spent every morning [expletive] all over Ann Curry.”
