Colton Haynes may have just broken the internet. The former "Teen Wolf" star's sexuality has long been a topic of discussion, but he never responded to the gossip. At least, not until now.

According to People magazine, a male fan posted on Tumblr Saturday that he was "excited" when he learned Haynes "had a secret gay past." The 27-year-old actor responded: "Was it a secret? Let's all just enjoy life & have no regrets."

Haynes' comments this weekend are the first time he's responded publicly to rumors that he might be gay. The Huffington Post reports that the "secret past" the fan cited could be old photos of the "Arrow" star passionately kissing a man for the gay publication XY magazine.

The outlet claims Haynes also sparked rumors about his sexuality in 2013 when he was spotted holding hands with his "Arrow" co-star John Barrowman. Barrowman is openly gay and married to a man.

At the time, Barrowman dismissed the photo, saying in an interview that he and Haynes were really good friends.

"He’s a great kid and we have a great time and he’s becoming a really good friend, which I think is really nice," he explained.

Even though it's not clear if Haynes did in fact come out as gay in his ambiguous Tumblr post, the actor has been receiving a tremendous amount of support from fans on Twitter.

As previously reported, Haynes opened up last month about his longtime struggle with anxiety. In a series of Twitter messages, the actor revealed that it had cost him a number of jobs.

“Anxiety had put me in the hospital countless amounts of times,” he said. “Whether it be fainting, hyperventilating, or seizures… I’ve been through it. Just know [you're] not alone and it affects more ppl than you would ever know… I’ve quit jobs because of anxiety, flaked on social events, family gatherings, birthdays, important movie/work tests. It’s a serious problem.”
