Chris Harrison is speaking out about the fate of “Bachelor In Paradise.” As an investigation into an incident on the set unfolds, fans can’t help but wonder whether Season 4 will happen at all.

The Bachelor Nation host released a statement, addressing the situation and the fate of “Bachelor In Paradise.” Harrison warned fans to be wary of information circulating about the situation involving DeMario Jackson and a female Season 4 cast member. Additionally, he revealed that no decisions will be made about “Bachelor In Paradise” being canceled until the investigation is complete.

“Let me start by saying the safety and care of the cast and crew of our show is of the utmost importance to us. It is with this thought in mind that we made the decision to suspend filming. Most of the Season 4 “Bachelor In Paradise” cast is staying mum. Ryan Beckett, who appeared on the show in Season 3, spoke to People about claims producers pushed a storyline on DeMario and the female involved, urging them to hook up. The former “Bachelorette” Season 11 star told the publication he never had or witnessed any such thing happen while he was in Mexico filming the show though producers did sometimes get involved if things go out of hand.

“In my experience, the producers definitely step in,” he said. “I felt they definitely had it under control.”

The female involved in the situation on “Bachelor In Paradise” has reportedly sought legal counsel. Sources told TMZ she was in a blackout when the encounter with DeMario occurred and remembers nothing. She’s reportedly decided to focus on producers, who she believes should have stepped in and ended the situation.

The female “Bachelor In Paradise” star isn’t the only one angry about what happened. Two unnamed Season 4 cast members told People they saw what transpired between DeMario and their co-star and thought producers would step in. The pair told People they were “angry at the show.”

“People are pissed, and not just at DeMario. We’re pissed that this whole thing happened,” the sources told People. “They could have seen that she was drinking too much and he was taking advantage. They could have stopped this before it got this far. But they decided to let it go, and let it happen and see what happened? So, I’m angry at the show, and everyone else is too.”

Early reports suggest the incident occurred between DeMario and the female in question after the duo met up at a bar. They returned to the “Bachelor In Paradise” mansion where they reportedly decided to go for a swim sans clothes. TMZ reported that in the pool there was “rubbing, touching and fingering,” but no sex.

In a statement of their own, Warner Bros. revealed that they were looking into what happened on “Bachelor In Paradise.” The company confirmed that they’d suspended production, but didn’t say whether it’d been canceled. Warner Bros. promised to take action once they figured out what exactly went down.

“We have become aware of allegations of misconduct on the set of ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ in Mexico,” the statement read. “We have suspended production and we are conducting a thorough investigation of these allegations. Once the investigation is complete, we will take appropriate responsive action.”
