The former President's diet also seems to be following his political path of turnarounds. Bill Clinton, who turned 65 on Friday, has become a vegan and has dropped weight to improve his health.

I like the vegetables, the fruits, the beans, the stuff I eat now, Clinton, once known for his love for burgers, barbecue and a whole lot of junk food, told CNN.

In 2004 Clinton, whose heart vessels had a 99 percent blockage, successfully underwent bypass surgery. Clinton sticks to veggies and doesn't consume meat, eggs, dairy or oil, and has lost 20 lbs, according to reports. I feel good, and I also have ... more energy, he says.

Clinton will formally celebrate his birthday with an all-star concert called Decade of Difference: A Concert Celebrating 10 Years of the William J. Clinton Foundation at the Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 15, People reported.
