The Boston Celtics will try to extend their winning streak to 10 games when they travel to the Amway Center to face the Orland0 Magic on Monday, January 23.

The Celtics are coming off a 106-104 win against the Toronto Raptors, a game they played without their top star Jayson Tatum.

Regardless, Celtics head coach Joe Mazulla got a big lift from his other star Jaylen Brown who led the charge with 27 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

Also stepping up in the absence of Tatum were Grant Williams and Malcolm Brogdon who had 25 and 23 points respectively.

"It says a lot about our team," Mazzulla said. "At the beginning of the game, you could obviously feel that we just didn't have the juice. We just kept playing. We never wavered, we made great plays. Guys did a great job managing the game."

The Celtics are scoring 118.5 points per game, second in the league at the moment.

The C's also have an offensive rating of 117.3, third in the NBA.

Boston will also be out to level their regular season series with the Magic. Orlando holds the edge, 2-1.

"We just didn't have the physicality tonight that we needed. There was just a different level of energy," Orlando coach Jamahl Mosley said. "We didn't have our presence and our physicality early, with the ball pressure that we needed, and so they were comfortable stepping into each one of their shots."

Markelle Fultz led the Magic anew with 23 points, eight assists, and five rebounds.

Backing him up was Franz Wagner who finished with 20 points and Paolo Banchero who scored 15 markers.

The offense of the Magic needs work, averaging only 110.9 points per contest, which is 27th in the NBA. Their offensive rating stands at 111.2.

Defensively, Orlando is allowing the opposition 114.7 points per contest. The Magic have a defensive rating of 114.8.

Oddsmakers pick the Celtics as -7.5 favorites to prevail over the hosting Magic, who are at +7.5.

Moreover, the moneyline for this matchup is -300 for Boston and +245 for Orlando.

The game will be shown over the NBA League Pass and via fuboTV at 7:00 PM.
