Britney Spears
Needless to say, Britney Spears hit some rough patches in the past. houseofarax.blogspot.com

Singer Britney Spears grew up in the public eye, allowing people everywhere to watch her success, as well as her psychotic and frightening meltdown. Spears is back on top though, having a successful tour for her album Femme Fatale, recently getting engaged to Jason Trawick, and rumored to be joining The X Factor. While we'd love to celebrate her recent success and happiness, it's hard not to look back on the times where she once shaved her head and wore a pink wig. A disturbing, yet somehow hilarious (I personally believe it's the music that's playing behind it) video of the singer's transformation over the years has hit the web.

The video shows Spears gradually aging and morphing into the beautiful, successful woman she is today. Obviously the video has to hit some bumpy spots along the way.

The pop princess, who began her entertainment career in 1989 at the age of eight began to start slipping in 2002 when she was 21-years-old. Spears admitted to the media that she lost her virginity to Justin Timberlake, was caught drinking and smoking at wild parties, openly kissed Colin Farrel at a movie premiere and was linked to Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit. After briefly getting her act together for her third album and kissing Madonna at the MTV Video Music Awards, Spears got married in Las Vegas in January 2004 to Jason Allen Alexander, a childhood friend. The marriage was annulled 55 hours later.

In September 2004 Britney Spears married back up dancer Kevin Federline. After giving birth to her first child, Sean Preston Federline in 2005, the new mom was spotted driving with him on her lap in 2006. Spears gave birth to her second child, Jayden James Federline in 2006 and the following year got divorced from Federline.

The singer ended up shaving her head and entering a drug rehabilitation program in 2007, losing custody of her children. She also began a relationship with Adnan Ghalib, a paparazzo. The following year she was hospitalized after appearing to be under the influence of drugs, and later committed to a psychiatric ward. She was released and placed under conservatorship of her father where she began her recovery and comeback to the recording industry.

It's been a long road of recovery for Britney Spears, and while her previous troubles are not something to be made a joke out of, this video does a great job of showing how the singer got to where she is today.
