Carrie Underwood’s four-year-old son Isaiah recently wanted to obtain the four-one-one on the singer’s activities inside their home, so he kept a close watch on his mom and the rest of their family. Unfortunately, Isaiah wasn’t able to fulfil his mission and Underwood’s husband Mike Fisher has exposed the reason why.

In an adorable Instagram Story that the retired professional ice hockey player shared on Monday, he revealed that his first son with Underwood attempted to spy on them by concealing himself underneath a table. However, the toddler fell asleep while he was pulling a Sherlock Holmes with his pal, a stuffed animal.

“When you sneak out of bed to spy and fall asleep,” Fisher captioned the photo of Isaiah sleeping underneath a table while barefoot and in green pajamas, according to US Weekly.

Prior to exposing Isaiah’s secret mission, the “American Idol” Season 4 winner hinted about it on her Twitter. She wrote that Isaiah was becoming suspicious because he felt something was “unreasonable” when it comes to the stuff he gets as he does not know where they come from.

When a fan commented that she loves kids and their vocabulary and that she used to drop “actually” in every conversation as a kid, Underwood revealed that Isaiah also went through a phase where he couldn’t help but excessively say “actually.”

Underwood and Fisher welcomed their first son on Feb. 27, 2015, five years after they tied the knot. Late last month and days before Isaiah turned four, Underwood took to Instagram to share a photo of her first child’s birthday cake that featured his favorite Muppets characters with Kermit the Frog as the main attraction.

Meanwhile, the singer and the athlete welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Jacob Bryan, on Jan. 21. Prior their second son’s birth, Underwood and Fisher had a difficult time since the Grammy-winning artist suffered three miscarriages.

When Underwood formally introduced her newborn to her fans on Instagram, she called baby Jacob “a gift from our Lord” and their “little miracle.” She also admitted that his addition to their family meant that their “lives are changed forever.”
