The casting for “Celebrity Big Brother” is currently on the way, and Blac Chyna is rumored to be the first person tapped by the producers of the hit CBS reality TV show.

US Weekly was first to speculate on Chyna’s casting since she’s instantly become one of the most talked about reality stars of today. Chyna was previously in a relationship with Rob Kardashian, and they have been blessed with one child together. However, their relationship failed, and they were even involved in a series of controversies.

In an episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” Rob’s eldest sister, Kim Kardashian-West, said that she doesn’t think he and Chyna are meant to be together. “It’s so clear what this relationship is and that they’re just not meant to be with each other,” she said.

“The production team behind the show is trying to get Chyna to do ‘Celebrity Big Brother,’” a source told US Weekly. Unfortunately, fans still need to wait before the complete list of celebrity houseguests is revealed. After all, the first season of “Celebrity Big Brother” won’t premiere until winter of next year.

According to Big Brother Network, it has been a common practice for the producers and casting directors to keep the names of the houseguests a secret until just a week before the premiere.

In September, “Big Brother” host Julie Chen announced that “Celebrity Big Brother” will be much shorter compared to the regular seasons of the reality TV competition. Normally, the regular houseguests are required to spend 90 to 100 days inside the house, which takes place in the summer.

“Big Brother” typically wraps up in September, and “Celebrity Big Brother” may kick off in November and end in December. In relation to the upcoming premiere of “Celebrity Big Brother,” Chen also revealed that she was forced to accept a salary cut so that the network can allot a budget for the new version of the show.

“If you know one thing about my husband, it has to make economic sense. He said, ‘You tell your attorney this is not a game we’re playing… This is the only way it will make sense financially. You shouldn’t be expected to be paid as if it’s a full series,” Chen told The Hollywood Reporter.
