Although details about the cause of Whitney Houston's death have not been revealed, another popular diva has spoken out about the death of Houston at the age of 48.

Celine Dion, best known for her single from The Titanic soundtrack My Heart Will Go On, participated in a phone interview on Monday's Good Morning America show.

It's just really unfortunate that drugs, bad people, bad influences took over her dreams, her motherhood, said Dion. When you think about Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Amy Winehouse, Michael Jackson... To get into drugs like that for whatever reason--because of stress, bad influence, whatever.

Dion expressed sympathy for the surviving members of Houston's family, especially her daughter Bobbi Kristina.

What happens when you have everything? asked Dion. Love supporter, motherhood...Something happens that I don't understand. That's why I'm scared of show business, of drugs and hanging out. That's why I don't go to parties!
