Chris Hemsworth Shares Wife Elsa Pataky's Underwhelming Response To 'Thor' Nude Scene

Chris Hemsworth has shared that his wife, Elsa Pataky, had the most underwhelming response to him baring his rear in the new Marvel movie "Thor: Love and Thunder."

The 38-year-old actor made the revelation as he talked about the thought process behind the scene on the red carpet of the film's Sydney premiere held Monday night.

"My wife said, 'Agh yeah whatever,' she's seen it all before," the actor said, according to 7Entertainment.

"Love and Thunder" is the fourth "Thor" installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it features the actor's first-ever nude scene for the franchise.

Hemsworth also mentioned the scene while chatting with reporters at the movie's Los Angeles premiere on June 23, describing it as "a dream of mine."

"It was 10 years in the making that scene," he said, as per Variety.

"It was a dream of mine. The first time I played Thor I took my shirt off and I thought, 'You know what's gonna sweeten this...' A decade from now, it's all gonna come off and here we are," Hemsworth said further.

The actor has been married to Pataky, 45, since December 2010. Their wedding took place only three months after making their relationship official.

In a 2018 interview with Vogue Australia, Pataky talked about the pressure that came with doing things "very quickly" in their relationship. "We did everything very quickly. I don't know how we survived as a couple," she said at the time. "We were married and then a year after we had kids. It puts a lot of pressure on a marriage, but we came out good because there is a lot of love between us and we are very strong personalities but love each other so much. We make it work."

A year prior to that interview, Hemsworth talked to GQ Australia about their relationship, saying, "My wife and I fell in love, had kids, didn't really see each other for a few years, then fell back in love. In terms of work, she's certainly given up more than I have."

The couple are parents to 8-year-old twin boys Sasha and Tristan. The kids are rarely seen out in public, but they showed up for the Sydney premiere of "Thor: Love & Thunder" wearing black tuxedos and white and black sneakers. They smiled for the cameras while Hemsworth had his hands lovingly wrapped around them.
