Hallmark’s all out of “Aurora Teagarden” movies for now, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t still a case for Sleuthers to solve tonight.

Earlier this year, Alison Sweeney (“Days of Our Lives,” “Murder, She Baked”) and Benjamin Ayres’ (“Saving Hope”) “The Chronicle Mysteries” series premiered with three movies over three Sundays. Luckily for fans of the new franchise, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries isn’t making viewers wait a whole year for a new installment.

Instead, the fourth flick, “Chronicle Mysteries: The Deep End,” debuts Sunday night, only a few months after the last one.

Directed by Nimisha Mukerji and written by Melissa Salmons, this new “Chronicle Mysteries” features the latest episode of Alex McPherson’s (Sweeney) true crime podcast, which focuses on “the death of a man whose wife seems certain to be convicted for his murder,” according to the synopsis.

“As she follows the story on her podcast, Alex, assisted by her colleague Drew Godfrey (Ayres), becomes convinced that the wife didn’t do it,” the synopsis continues, “but unless she can identify and locate the killer before the trial reaches its conclusion, an innocent woman will take the fall for a murder she didn’t commit.”

Olivia Steele Falconer (Kendall), Rebecca Staab (Eileen), Tegan Moss (Stephanie), Robyn Bradley (Deborah), Chenier Hundal (Jeremy), Edward Ruttle (Max), Karen Holness (Katie), Jessica Heafey (Dana), Anita Brown (Claire), Sean Campbell (Leonard), Megan Leitch (Heidi), Chad Riley (Dave) and Shalyn Ferdinand (Fay) are also featured in the cast.

Check out the premiere of “Chronicle Mysteries: The Deep End” on Sunday on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries at 9 p.m. EDT.
