Constance Wu received a "great" piece of advice from Chris Pratt when she returned to work after giving birth to her daughter.

The actress welcomed her baby daughter with her musician boyfriend Ryan Kattner in 2020.

Wu said she bought an extra freezer to store breast milk after Pratt gave her a handful of tips on what to do with the milk.

"He and I both had kids around the same time," she told E! in an exclusive interview ahead of the release of Amazon's "The Terminal List." "And, you know, he just had great advice for storing breast milk. And it was kind of fun to being able to powwow with somebody who was going through the same thing."

Pratt has two daughters with wife Katherine Schwarzenegger and a son with ex-wife Anna Faris.

Unlike most celebrities, Wu never publicly shared details about her pregnancy. She even wiped out all her posts on her Instagram and Twitter pages and labeled the accounts "defunct."

In the interview, the actress said she found herself crying and missing her baby a lot after returning to the set of the new action series.

"I'll tell you the first day back on set after giving birth and everything, I did cry a little bit because I missed my baby. Nobody knew I did," she told E!

Despite the blues, the 40-year-old "Crazy Rich Asians" star said she "couldn't have asked for a more supportive, wonderful loving environment" from the crew and her co-workers in the show.

She said Pratt "intimately" understood her experience "because his wife was going through the same thing because we gave birth around the same time. And then with the producers, who were also family people, they really made sure that I felt supported as a mother."

"They knew that that's when any employee or actor gives their best work, is when they feel supported as a human. And part of that is being a parent and caring about your family," Wu added.

"The Terminal List," which will release July 1 on Amazon Prime Video, tells the story of Navy SEAL officer James Reece (Pratt) who investigates the ambush of his entire platoon following a high-stakes covert mission.
