They don’t know who poisoned Marlena with a deadly dose of penicillin or why, but Leo may start to suspect his mother’s involvement and will give John a warning about her on the Friday, March 15 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Leo (Greg Rikaart) was shocked when he learned that John (Drake Hogestyn) is his actual father, and while he has decided to try and use that information to his benefit so he can stay in Salem and still have a powerful and privileged life there on the NBC soap, he may decide that his newly found “father” deserves the benefit of knowing what Diana (Judith Chapman) is really like now, and just how far she would go to get what she wants. Though he doesn’t know that she injected the macaroons and planted them on Marlena’s (Deirdre Hall) desk with a note she forged to be from Haley (Thia Megia), he may begin to suspect that the current predicament facing John’s wife is somehow tied to her, and he will make sure to warn his dad that his mother isn’t the same woman she was when she initially left Salem all those years before.

“Leo gives John a warning about Diana,” spoilers reveal.

Considering his own dealings with his mother, especially the fact that she’s blackmailing him with the evidence that he murdered the man he did think was his father, Leo knows that trusting Diana is something that should come with a grain of salt, so he will make sure John knows not to do it. Unfortunately, even if the two manage to somehow take a lack of trust in Diana and figure out a way to use it so they can figure out that she is behind the latest problem, it could prove to be too late.

“Marlena takes a turn for the worse,” spoilers tease.

Since eating the laced macaroon and succumbing to her allergy, Marlena has been unconscious. Now, she could take a turn towards death, as a preview clip for the week’s episodes (see above) show her seeming to arrive at heaven’s gates—where she will see a familiar face in Tony (Thaao Penghlis).

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
