Destiny 2 Spire of the Watcher
Spire of the Watcher, the new dungeon from Destiny 2 Season 19 Bungie

KEY POINTS

  • Spire of the Watcher will feature the Vex as its main enemies
  • The dungeon will reward players with Tex Mechanica-themed loot
  • A new exotic bow will be part of the dungeon's rewards table

Guardians will get to dip their feet into a brand new dungeon in "Destiny 2's" "Season of the Seraph," which offers more unique loot and challenges that will test their skills and builds.

Spire of the Watcher will be released with the daily reset on Friday. Anyone who's kept up with "Destiny 2's" power grind until the end of "Season of Plunder" should be able to hop right into the new dungeon with relative ease, but with the nerfs that hit popular subclass-related builds, expect a harder time overall.

Here's everything we know about it so far, based on what the folks at r/Destiny2Leaks have dug up.

Dungeon Setting

Spire of the Watcher will be set in a secret Seraph facility on Mars that's been rediscovered following the ongoing Xivu Arath crisis involving Warmind Rasputin. Not much is known about the installation itself, but players can expect an army of Vex inside.

Spire of the Watcher Weapons and Armor

Fans of the Tex Mechanica manufacturer should be excited about this new dungeon, as most of its unique loot will be Western-themed. Datamined images suggested that four new guns (sidearm, scout rifle, machine gun and grenade launcher) will all have Tex Mechanica's signature flair.

The dungeon's armor set also appears to be heavily inspired by the classic cowboy aesthetic. Vests, spurs and 10-gallon hats can be seen in this leaked photo shared on Twitter. Silhouettes of all three armor sets can also be seen in the teaser image for Spire of the Watcher.

Spire of the Watcher: New Exotics

The dungeon will allegedly feature a new exotic Solar bow called the Hierarchy of Needs. This weapon will reportedly have the same target tracking feature that Ticuu's Divination does, though it requires something called a "Guidance Ring" as part of its unique trait, Apollonic Tangent.

The weapon is expected to be a random drop like "Season of the Haunted's" Heartshadow sword from the Duality dungeon.

Players can also expect the Revision Zero exotic gun to be released later this month once "Season of the Seraph's" events start to truly unfold. Additionally, three exotic armor pieces have been spotted in the database, but at the moment, nobody knows yet what they do or where they drop from.
