The Powerball drawing on Wednesday night did not result in a grand prize winner for the estimated $67.8 million jackpot with a cash value of $38.5 million. However, there were plenty of other wins as the jackpot grew to an estimated $82 million.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on Wednesday night were 22, 23, 36, 47, 63, with a red Powerball pull of 2. The PowerPlay was 2X.

The next Powerball drawing will take place on Saturday. The jackpot will reach an estimated $82 million, with a $46.6 million cash option.

Along with no winners in the recent drawing, there were no instant millionaires. Players who would have hit the Match 5 would have won $1 million. If ticket holders would have hit the Match 5 with the 2X Power Play, they would have won $2 million.

Several smaller monetary prizes did result from the Wednesday Powerball drawing. There were 11 players who hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball and won $50,000 each. Meanwhile, only two players hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball with a 2X Power Play, winning $100,000 apiece.

The other monetary wins from the latest lottery drawing ranged between $4 and $200. A total of 325,431 players won prizes from the Wednesday night jackpot.

The latest drawing comes after a player in Michigan won $150,000 by consistently playing the same numbers. James Scheibner, 57, hit the Match 5 with a Power Play in the June 25 drawing.

“I play Powerball every week and have played the same set of numbers for years,” Scheibner said in a press release.

“I logged on to my Lottery account the day after the drawing thinking maybe I’d won a few dollars on the ticket. When I saw the balance of $150,000 in my account, I was shocked. It was very exciting.”

Scheibner plans to use his prize money to pay bills and make some investments.

Lottery winners need to match the six numbers on their ticket to the drawn six-number combination. Five numbers must be selected from 1 to 69 for the white balls, and a number is selected from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.

There is a 1 in 292.2 million chance of winning the Powerball jackpot. Powerball drawings take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
