Disney has released its first poster and has announced a release date for its trailer for the upcoming film “Cruella,” starring Emma Stone.

This live-action movie follows Cruella de Vil, the villain of “101 Dalmatians,” who is a young fashion designer in 1970s London. She grows obsessed with dogs' skins and delves into cruelty.

A live-action film of the famous 1961 animated classic was released in 1996 that starred Glenn Close.

This new film is set to be released on May 28, 2021. It had originally been slated for the 2020 holiday season but was later pushed into 2021.

The poster features Stone with rock-n-roll, punk rock style vibe with dark makeup and the famous white and black curly hair of Cruella de Vil. “Cruella” is slapped across the front in a bold red color as well.

The trailer will be released Wednesday just a day after the poster drop.

"Cruella" is directed by Australian filmmaker Craig Gillespie and written by Dana Fox and Tony McNamara.
