Queen Elizabeth just sparked rumors that she has a new favorite grandchild. Just weeks ago, it was revealed that Her Majesty’s new favorite was Lady Louise Windsor.

But this week, she paid a special tribute to Princess Eugenie, which sparked rumors that the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson is her new favorite granddaughter.

On Oct. 12, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank celebrated their first-year anniversary as a married couple. The Queen made sure to honor the happy couple via a greeting on Twitter.

“Congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank on their 1st Wedding Anniversary! Today marks one year since Her Royal Highness and Mr. Brooksbank exchanged vows at St George’s Chapel within the grounds of Windsor Castle on October 12th, 2018,” the tweet read.

But by the looks of it, the Queen is not playing favorites. She usually asks her communications staff to greet members of the royal family on their birthdays and wedding anniversaries. She did the same thing for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they celebrated their first-year wedding anniversary on May 19.

The Queen is also expected to do the same thing when Princess Beatrice celebrates her first wedding anniversary to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in 2021. The couple just got engaged last month, and they are set to tie the knot next year.

Meanwhile, a royal expert previously claimed that the Queen’s favorite grandchild is actually Peter Phillips, her eldest grandchild. Phillips is the son of Princess Anne.

Following his birth, Princess Anne opted to not give his eldest child a royal title. She also made the same decision after the birth of her second child, Zara Phillips.

But the Queen gave Princess Anne’s only son a courtesy title, which proved that she has a special spot for him. However, another royal expert is convinced that Prince William and Prince Harry are Her Majesty’s favorite because she works closely with them.
