Donald Trump considered his wife Melania Trump his rock and foundation.

Just recently, the president was asked what he got for the first lady for Christmas. Trump said that he got Melania a “beautiful card.” However, not everyone was impressed, with some even mocking the POTUS. Over a year ago, Trump exerted effort to give Melania a birthday card signed by the public.

In April 2018, a few days before the FLOTUS’ birthday, Trump recognized Melania’s contribution in his being. According to the U.S. president, he “wouldn’t be the man I am today” without Melania. He also urged people to sign her birthday card.

“This month, our family is looking forward to a very special day. Please join us in celebrating the First Lady and my beautiful, kind-hearted and exceptional wife Melania's birthday by signing her card,” Trump said.

“Melania is my rock and foundation, and I wouldn’t be the man I am today without her by my side. She's the cornerstone of our family, and an incredible mother to our son, Barron. I'm so proud of her accomplishments, and I hope you'll wish her well on her special day,” he continued.

Just recently, Trump’s Christmas card was mocked by some Twitter users. Many complained because he also got her a card for her birthday and nothing else. Meanwhle, some suspected that he had no presents for his wife at all.

Some suggested that the best Christmas gift Donald could give to Melania are divorce papers. One social media user hoped that it would be a “big fat divorce settlement.”

In related news, Trump and his second wife, Marla Maples, had a prenup agreement, which divorce lawyer Roul Felder described as “ironclad.” The businessman turned politician was wary following his divorce from Ivana Trump because their split became a legal battle. So, he made sure that Maples couldn’t come after his money by leaving nothing to chance.

He offered her $1 milion if they separated within five years and another $1,000 to buy a house. Donald also offered $100,000 child support payment for their daughter Tiffany. Donald also forbid Maples from publishing any diary, memoir, letter, story, photography or interview about their marriage.
