Dai, Maam, and Popp finally reach Valge Tower after getting saved by Crocodine and Hyunckel. However, Flazzard’s powerful attacks remain a major source of concern for Dai and company.

In "Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai" Episode 19, when all hope seems lost, Dai recalls the words of his mentor, Avan.

Fans can recall in the last episode, Maam and Popp are surprised to see Hyunckel’s return. Maam is happy Hyunckel is alive.

After their tearful reunion, Hyunckel asks Popp to take Maam to the Valge Tower while he beats Hadlar and his evil henchmen. During the episode, fans learn how Crocodine saved Hyunckel’s life and now the latter is ready to take down the enemy.

Hadlar’s sidekicks attack Hyunckel. However, Hyunckel easily beat them. He goes on to challenge Hadlar and provokes him to join the fight. Meanwhile, Crocodine takes down the Dark Flame Spire. Hadlar asks his men to stand down as he is ready to unveil his true powers.

The episode showcases a brutal battle between the two as Hyunckel manages to pierce through Hadlar’s heart. Believing he killed Hadlar, Hyunckel puts his guard down and that is when Hadlar strikes back.
