From a studious Hogwarts student to a retro beauty, Emma Watson has completely transformed herself for her role in the new film, My Week with Marilyn. The film is expected to release on Nov. 18 and deals with a secret week British writer and filmmaker Colin Clark, allegedly, spent with former Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe.

In the film, Watson exhibits her versatile acting skills in playing the role of a 21-year-old wardrobe assistant on the sets of the famous 1957 film The Prince and the Showgirl, starring Monroe. Watson sports a fringed look with chestnut brown hair; identical to the style prevalent among 1950s women.

The Daily Mail reported that the big screen classic was filmed at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, where the California-born Monroe was said to have complained about the inclement weather. The film looks to stay true to history and was shot in the same location.

Besides Watson, the film also stars Michelle Williams, Eddie Redmayne, Kenneth Branagh, Dominic Cooper, Julia Ormond and Judi Dench.
