Ex-porn star Mia Khalifa is using her social media platforms to send a positive message to the public. After being really active in raising funds for her home country Lebanon, the famous TikTok star is now urging the public to teach their young ones about the difference between “consent” and “force.”

The former sports commentator shared a TikTok video made by a different user in one of her Instagram stories. In the video, a teenage girl can be seen lip-syncing to a song playing in the background. Alongside the video, the girl recalled the moment when she did not want to have sex with someone she knew but had to give in because of constant pressure.

“I did not actually want to have sex with you. I just felt pressured and did not want to kill the vibe,” the girl captioned the video that Khalifa shared.

In the same post, the “Ramy” star shared an infographic discussing the issue further. The infographic featured five categories: consent, cooperation, compliance, coercion, and force.

The first on the list was “consent.” As per the material, consent means both parties are ready to start a physical relationship with each other and none of them is being pressured to get into it. The second one was “cooperation.” Cooperation means that the person is fine with starting a physical relationship without being completely sure about it.

The other category featured on the list was “compliance.” Sexual compliance refers to situations in which a person says “yes” to an unwanted sexual activity with a sexually interested partner when, for any number of reasons, he or she is not interested in starting a sexual relationship.

The fourth category on the list was “coercion.” Sexual coercion is unwanted sexual activity that happens when a person is pressured or forced in a nonphysical way. According to womenshealth.gov, “coercion” can make a person think that they owe sex to someone.

All the aforementioned things lead to the last category on the list: “force.” Forcing someone to have a sexual relationship is an act of physical, psychological, and emotional violation in the form of a sexual act, inflicted on someone without their consent.

"This is what we are not teaching young men and women, but should be," Khalifa wrote in her post.

The former adult film star’s latest social media post comes a few weeks after she slammed various pornographic websites that exploit women to earn profits. She added that all the “exploited” women deserve a better life.

“Every woman being exploited by these corporations deserves better. Period,” Khalifa wrote in one of her Instagram stories.

On the other hand, the former adult film actress is being praised for raising funds for Lebanon. She recently did a Twitch stream and an auction and raised more than $104,000 for the people who are still struggling to get essential goods following the explosions in Beirut.
