Barry must capture a new powerful meta in next week’s installment of “The Flash.”

According to the synopsis for Season 4, episode 6 of the CW series, Barry (Grant Gustin) turns to a surprising ally for help when collectors of Native American artifacts are attacked by a meta named Mina Chayton (Chelsea Kurtz) who can bring inanimate objects to life.

The trailer for the episode suggests that Barry’s surprising ally is none other than his former nemesis Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer). In the promo clip, Barry appears to be training Ralph how to be a superhero. Cisco (Carlos Valdes), meanwhile, makes a superhero suit for Ralph. But the private investigator doesn’t appreciate it.

“When you stretch, it stretches. When you squish, it squishes,” Cisco says of Ralph’s plain-looking yet functional suit.

“It squishes into something but [it’s] ugly,” comments Ralph, aka Elongated Man.

Elsewhere in the episode, Harry (Tom Cavanagh) — who is determined to crack the identity of The Thinker (Neil Sandilands) — enlists Cisco’s help to summon the Council of Wells, a roundtable of the brightest Harrison Wells’ from various Earths.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly earlier this month, Cavanagh shared how the idea for the Council of Wells came about. “We had a sprinkling of it when they were on their quest for H.R. Wells last year where we had Hells Wells, Mime Wells, and Steampunk Wells, and so that was just a one-off, but that got everybody’s juices flowing like, ‘If we were to do that, what would that look like with there being a Council of Wells that could convene?” Cavanagh said. “We thought, ‘Oh, this is going to be completely obnoxious and shameless when I get hold of it,’ and it is proving to be super obnoxious and ultra-shameless in hopefully the most appealing way.”

While Cavanagh didn’t reveal how many versions of Wells will appear in the episode, the synopsis for the hour suggests that there will be four Harrys in the installment.

“The Flash” Season 4, episode 6, titled “When Harry Met Harry…,” airs on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
