“Flip Or Flop” star Christina El Moussa said she is in a “good spot” with estranged husband Tarek El Moussa after being separated for several months. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Saturday, Christina said she and Tarek are now getting along well.

"Honestly, I'm doing really good. I'm in a really good place. The kids are really happy, they're healthy, Tarek and I are in a good spot. We have a lot of things that we're working on, cool things coming in the future, so we're just looking forward," Christina told Entertainment Tonight.

"Tarek and I have worked together about 10 years, and we're going to continue to work together. We're getting along really, really well right now," the 33-year-old said, in the interview.

Christina and Tarek parted their ways last May after a fight involving a gun. They announced about their separation in December and in January, Tarek filed for divorce.

Despite this, Christina said she and Tarek decided to move on and continue being in each other’s lives for their children — 6-year-old daughter Taylor and 1-year-old son Brayden.

"I think, honestly, it's just like letting go of past resentment and living in the future, and remembering that kids are the priority. And we are going to be in each other's lives for forever, so we just decided to put the past in the past and move on," she said. "We both put the kids first. We just decided to really get on the same page and both make sure we're doing the best we can," Christina told the entertainment website. "They are the biggest joy in my life and they are just happy, fun, amazing kids."

Tarek, who had revealed he fought thyroid cancer in 2013 and got diagnosed with testicular cancer one month later, blamed lack of communication with his estranged wife as the reason for their split, in an interview with “The Doctors.”

“I feel like if we had better communication, we would have had a better relationship,” Tarek said in the interview. “I think as time went on, you get busier and busier — and, you know, it was overnight. Businesses, TV, all these things happened at once, and then the cancer, then the cancer, then the back surgery. It just kind of started pushing us apart from each other.”

He, however, has maintained that he has moved on and is in a better place.
