The popular HBO series “Game of Thrones” is already past the midway point of Season 5 and the action is picking up. Episode 6, titled “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken,” will finally see the Sand Snakes launch an attack. The episode trailer released by HBO gives clues as to what will take place in Sunday’s episode. [Warning: Spoiler alert!]

The episode 6 promo opens up with a shot of Arya Stark. Jaqen H’ghar asks if she is ready to give up her hopes and dreams as well as her loves and hates. Arya, of all people, is definitely one who can hold a grudge. She has been spending her evenings saying the names of all the people who have wronged her and her family. [video below]

In order to continue her training in the House of Black and White, Arya must learn to let go. She needs to leave behind everything that makes her Arya Stark and learn to become nobody.

Also in the trailer, the story shifts to Dorne. Trystanne Martell and Myrcella Baratheon appear to be getting close as Doran Martell looks on. He refuses to launch a war of revenge on behalf of his brother and speaks about the union of a Martell and a Lannister. “A Lannister and a Martell; they have no idea how dangerous that is,” he says. Meanwhile, as Prince Doran makes plans, the episode synopsis states that Trystanne and Myrcella are making plans of their own.

Still in Dorne, Jaime Lannister has arrived and is intent on finding his daughter. He plans to bring her back and reunite her with Cersei and the rest of their family. Unfortunately for Jaime, the Sand Snakes and Ellaria Sand also have their eyes on Myrcella. They launch their attack and start their campaign to avenge Oberyn Martell.

Meanwhile, back in King’s Landing, Petyr Baelish faces Cersei Lannister. As expected, she asks him to pledge allegiance to the throne. With him, she means to ask for the allegiance of the lords and knights of the Vale.

Cersei is anticipating a war in Westeros and she has a good reason. She is also looking for allies now that she has put the Lannister allegiance with the Tyrells in jeopardy. Cersei has escaped her fate as the bride of Ser Loras Tyrell by getting him arrested. This has broken the tension between the two families and Lady Olenna tells Queen Margaery that Cersei wants to drag the Tyrell name through the dirt.

On the other side of the narrow sea, Tyrion and Bronn will also continue to face more problems when they run into slavers on their way to see Daenerys Targaryen. The saga continues on “Game of Thrones.” Episode 6 airs at 9 p.m. EDT Sunday, May 17, on HBO.
